I have seen seperate tuning systems work in conjunction. I have used apexi vafc in a eg coupe boosted 13 psi, that bitch was fast. But I have never used turbo edit. This dude I know who boosts cars uses it on obd0 ecus and I was thinking of having him tune it, but I need to find a good dyno tuner. . . . . . . . .

I'm pretty sure I'm going to convert my car to obd1 and use a p28 chipped w/crome or hondata. I just don't know what distributor I can use, a b16a2? Then all I need is a conversion harness and 02 sensor?

I'm willing to throw $1000 (including obd1 conversion) just into tuning. Any suggestions? I wanna run as much boost as reliably as possible without building the engine.

Yeah I was thinking about arp head studs and a new head gasket before I boost. Especially since one of my friends just boosted a eg hatch w/ a d16a6 in it 10 psi and about a month later blew a head gasket!

Yes, but does it have a 10+:1 CR? A stock [internally] B16 with a T3 at 9 lbs. might be a little much for long-term daily use. Just a thought...
yup... 10.5:1

If you're willing to throw 1000 in for just tuning then why don't you just use Hondata and get it professionally tuned? Or you can use Crome Pro...but like the other said, make sure you get it professionally tuned. Good luck man
