obviously standard at the moment hehe.....but waiting to see if it is worthwhile turb'ing it before replacing standard parts with aftermarket...or replacing whole engine maybe

You should try this paintjob. Sbowers is in the process of doing it and it looks great.

As far as the turbo, im not an expert but it seems the be the general responce that if you have a healthy engine without leaks or anything then go for it. Or if it has crasy high miles, you could look into a similar motor with less miles or a b series or something. Just depends on your budget.

yeah dont turbo that motor unless you are 100% sure of what you are doing... drop in like a d16z6 which is mpfi and obd-1 which you can tune really easily and then slap the turbo kit on and tune it and you are on your way...

yeah, carbs are a pain to turbo and get to run correctly. hks and mugen both made turbo kits for that generation of civic, but they were fuel injected models only. so fuel injection is the best way to run. hasport makes a swap kit to drop a b series in, so get a b18b and put dual webers on it and build it to be a NA screamer, then you would have power and no wiring nightmare
