300 hp!
I talked to the owner of this local pewrformace shop who has does everything from h22 boosted in hatch to k20 in ek hatch about my boost setup. He said he could hook me up with a drag kit for 2500 bucks. Then he said he's done another b16a hatch with a thicker head gasket and 10 psi and it made 300 whp!!!!!!! So that's the plan now. I'll be getting the drag kit, head gasket, arp head studs in about several weeks to a month or so, I can't wait!!!

RE: 300 hp!
No it's not my first experoence, I had a ex coupe w/d16z6 boosted 13 psi w/apexi v-afc!!!! I sold it cause it was kind of a piece.
I thought about piecing together a full kit but the dude told me it's a pain in the *** cause nothing fits right, but I guess if i wanna save money. . . . I'm not sure If I'll buy that kit. All I know is that it's a drag kit. I would rather put some money into some pistons and rods but I don't feel comfortable ripping my engine apart. I asked dude at the local shop how much for a bottom-end build and he said just under $2000. So as of right now I'm leaning toward the idea of the drag kit, thick head gasket, and arp head studs. Think my b16 can handle that for a while with a good tune? This guy says he has someone who chips and flashes obd0 ecus. . . But I won't know for sure what I'll do untill I have all my money saved up. I'm up to a grand right now.
I am currently working on building my suspension so when I do boost my car can handle it well and drive nice. I got almost all the front end done with new tie rods, ball joints, control arms, and I got tociko illumina 5 way adjustable kit. I am wating on this 4 piece strut bar kit, racing seats, mugen wheel, 4 point harness, and megan rear lower control arms, catback exhaust, exedy stage 1 racing clutch and more, it's all on the way!!! I'm very excited cause I have vacation next week so I'll have time to do all this.
So hopefully I'll have betweeb 2-3 thousand for boost and tune. . . . . . . .

RE: 300 hp!
Only if I lower the compression with a thicker head gasket. I know someone who made 300whp with stock b16 and thick head gasket with 10psi. If I hit 300 to the flywheel I'd be pretty happy. I'm not in a hurry to blow my engine before I get a chance to have it built.
