RE: keeping away from rice?
Giant gaudy wings, ridiculous paint jobs, stickers galore. Basically all SHOW and no GO. The kids who spend thousands of dollars on ridiculous paint jobs and plaster their cars with stickers and badges of parts they don't have equipped.

As far as I can tell, it's going overboard when it comes to appearance, however, some say that it's not rice if you like it. Example: a 6 feet wing, or a million stickers or an odd green or purple paint job or 22 inch rims. Now, serious modification to your engine is not rice because it enhances performance rather than looks.
Most prefer to keep their civics clean with a few appearance modifications but nothing overboard. Help me out guys.

To each their own opinion, i never really got this whole rice thing.
How can 1 style of tail lights be considered rice.
For example same tail lights, 1 in carbon fibre and the other in chrome(altezza)
Its just 2 different finishes and yet one is considered rice.

When you step back and look at your car...and it....umm...doesn't belong, than its rice...like those wing mounts less the wing on a corolla that I can see from out of my window..
