Default Y8 Wiring question's

Maybe someone with a manual or experience can tell me what these are.

1) Theres a wire that runs from the bottomof the motor from the back right corner as if you were looking at the front of the motor and plugs into a plug on the wire harness.

2) A blue plug (female end)on the back of the motor and a plug from the wire harness plugs into it. Why Im asking this is because Im using my intake mani, wire harness, and distributer on my z6 head and block and my Z6 does not have that wire and plug like the Y8 does.

Is the wire among those shown in the picture?

RonJ to save the day again.

It may be the C104 and if not its right in the area at the bottom of the motor. Female end with wires comes directly out of the bottom of the motor. Maybe that gives you a better Idea.

As far as the other plug. It is directly in the middle of the motor right under the intake mani and the plug screws into the back of the motor.

C104 serves the alternator. Here is the accompanying Table describing each harness/connector:

Edit: Note in the Table the number of cavities/pins in the connector to look for a positive match. Once you think you've identified the wire/connector, I can probably also retrieve a circuit diagram and connector pin out for you.

Can a get a diagram for c102 cause after looking at c104 closer I know when it goes to. If you have a close picture ofC102 I would be able to point it out a little better maybe. Thanks again for being so helpful.

That looks to be it. My Z6 motor does not have that sensor coming from the crank shaft. Wonder what I am to do and if it could hurt the car by not having it. Beings Im using the Y8 harness on the Z6 motor.

Can I possibly find a way to bypass this so Im not throwing a CEL?
