Working on front end from underneath.

Working on front end from underneath.
First, I would like to thank Ron and other members of this forum for their advice and knowledge.
This is going to sound like a stupid question, but safety is important:
I recently got a 3 ton hydralic floor jack and stands. The problem is I don't know where to use them on my 97 civic ex coupe. If I jack it up on the front end near the front of the door at the recommended jack spot, I don't have room to get the stands in the same spot. Where should I jack and where should I place the stands for working on the front end? I know a few of you will get a laugh out of this, but I don't want to break anything on the car and more importantly I don't want to break myself.

RE: Working on front end from underneath.
i always jack the car up from the front hooks then stick the jack stand on those jack points... and the rear i go right in the middle cross brace between the wheels.
not a big deal.... if you want a easier way look into a new jack or 2.... they have some now that are 2 parts.... the jack and the stand are in 1. jack the car up then remove the jack.
o wow just looked at it and theres a few BAD reviews of it.

i also like this jack style.....
should work great for slamed cars....
