I have a 92 civic with the 1.6 Dohc vtec engine, the car starts fine when cold but when the car is warmed up and if you turn the engine off for a few minutes (at a petrol station etc) the car will start then stall, if you try again straight away it just turns over on the starter motor....If you leave it for a couple of minutes and try again it will start...
I've so far replaced the spark plugs, HT leads and the dissy cap and the problem is still there..

I'm a bit stuck and don't know where to start looking for the problem so any help would be great....

 

Fuel pump relay. Happened to me on 3 seperate Civics.

yeah thats your fuel pump relay, usually its just as easy as hitting the reset button on it and it works fine but honda wants you to pay a couple hundred for them to fix it

 

Found the relay today and spoke to Honda to see how much a new one ones, I was glad I was sat down when he told me!!
These things are expensive for such a small box with switchs in it....
