Default Wont go into gear

i got a 96 civic ex , and i was driving home the other day and it started getting harder and harder to get it into gear , by the time i was at my house the gears almost didn't even go in , there was no grinding though , it does go into gear when its turned off , so then i read that it might be the slave cylinder , replaced that then started bleeding the system , while bleeding it the clutch would stick to the floor , and i would pick it back up , after getting the air out , i went to pressed the clutch again and it stuck to the floor , so then i checked the slave again and this happened , the seal broke.

how where you bleeding the clutch.... and when you bleed it the pedal does stay to the floor when fluid is released so you have to pull it back up by hand.

we were bleeding it through the little nozzle in the front , near the header ,
yeah when you get a little air out then close the nozzle , and the push the clutch down , it stays until you pull it up again , but after i opened the nozzle a couple times , it would gradually get better , and the pedal wouldn't stick to the floor , and the oem slave had the same exact tear in the seal as the one i pictured.

When my master cylinder was leaking, I decided to replace both the slave and the master at the same time. I used a mitivac vacuum pump to bleed the system.

Vacuum pump FTW.

I don't see how that seal could do that unless the piston is able to come out too far, which would mean that something inside the bell housing is broken.

Holy broken release fork batman. Don't think I've seen one of those before.

And dude, clean that engine bay up. After a couple of days you'll be able to see where the oil is leaking from.
