Make sure it is raining when you deploy wipers.

If you use wipers on Rain-X treated windshield with not much rain, wipers will squeak. Even if it is down pour, don't use wipers if you have Rain-X working good. I know it because I use Rain-X myself on every car I owned. I try to use less of wipers as long as visibility allows me.

Also, Rain-X makes windshield and windows fog in the morning, on outside during cold/cooler months in FL. This can be annoying and dangerous sometimes, if you are driving east due to morning sunshine. I use wipers to clear the fog, but the fog follows the wipers, like a weather radar screen. It would last about 5 minutes of driving to really clear the fog.

My 90 Civic HB with no A/C fogged really bad in rain with two sons in the car. I did not want to use heat to clear it because this was in MIA area and three people in this tiny car. I didn't want to open windows because it would come inside. So, we stopped at Taco Bell waited out for rain to stop.
