Why does my car die every day?
Everyday I start it up it dies only once. 2nd time it starts up fine and has no problems till I park it at let it sit overnight. Maybe the cold? Car only has 70000 miles on it. Its a 99 prelude do these cars have this as a common problem where it has problems starting in the cold? Only thing new it has got was a battery. Other then that the car drives fine vtec kicks in and no problems. I just cant figure why it always dies when I start it up.

Maybe the check valve in the fuel pump is letting the gas run back out of the lines when you park for a while. Try turning the key on but do not start, this runs the fuel pump for about 2 seconds. Turn it off and back on a couple more times to prime the lines. Then see if it will start and keep going.
If that is the problem you can just live with it, it's expensive to replace the fuel pump for such a small reason.

Oh ok well I cant try that right now I gotta wait till tomorrow. I can live with that if its not a huge problem I was just wondering and hoping it wasnt something that would cause problems later.

With the Honda's that I've had in the past, the only problems related to cold weather was an old and dying battery.

What kind of battery did you purchase? My mom has a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country with 8,000 miles on it and it kept dying in the cold due to all the computers not going into sleep mode. Poor design by Chrysler. The reason I bring this up is we fixed the problem with an OPTIMA brand battery. Those suckers are powerful.
But then again, that's only if the battery is weak now.
