Default WHITE SMOKE!

hey guys i just bought my 00 si this week!!
its got 80000miles and every thing seems to be in good condition exp..
when ever i floor the car and rev the rpm to about 4000 then i see white smoke comming out of my exaust.
if its just little smoke its understandable but its too much that car behind me would change lanes and ****..
when its idle theres no smoke..
if i drive under 3000 rpm or just slowly theres no smoke..
the color of smoke is pure white..
i need to ck emission soon and do you think ill fail the emission?
also what seems to be the problem?

Sounds like a blown headgasket to me... Might be time for a leakdown test

The white smoke will smell like antifreeze, because it is steam from coolant that got into the cylinders. Some probably also comes out at idle. This is almost always a blown head gasket (or much worse, a cracked block or head) however sometimes if there are coolant lines to preheat parts of the intake, a leak can develop there and spill coolant into the engine giving the same symptom.

I concur on the blown headgasket. However, if you have 0 engine experience, I dont reccomend you doing it yourself. It will be a $500 job on average.
