Default Where's the Power source?

I am looking to splice my fog lights into the existing wiring for the low beams. How do I locate these wires? Anyone have experience with this inthe past. I shouldn't be a hard job, but finding the right wire to splice into is proving difficult so far.

Is it that easy? Are there seperate wires for each high/low beam, or just one power source? Also, if that is the case and it is that easy, everything in the engine well is so tight, how can I get in there to work? Will popping out the whole headlight gimme more room to work?

^+1 You may think its ghetto fab, but it is a good idea, maybe not run the wires to the battery but to the ignition wire, or the power wire of your dash lights.

I like to tap into the lead for the cigarette lighter. Its close to where you would mount a switch and its wired to the ignition.

i would do what the others said about the switch but worst case tapping into your ambers should be easier than the low beams
