Whats wrong with my civic?
I can feel there is a difference in my car. I don't accelerate as quick(only a small noticable differance) anymore. Its only happened twice in the past month, but when I'm accelerating my engine felt like it lost more than half its power. It was like going from 4 cyl. to 2cyl. But, I just changed my sparkplugs and wires not to long ago. I haven't actually checked them yet though. Also, under hard acceleration my exhaust "crackles". Its never done that before. And the exhaust seems alittle louder than usual. Does any one have a clue whats going on?

check ur timing, firing order, and the plugs that u just changed. also, make sure that ur plugs are gapped right. i dont care what anyone says. ur plugs are never "pre-gapped." always check em.

Big T:
Your saying this problem only happens once in a while or all the time. That would make a big difference in possible problems. If it was all the time it could be a partially clasped valve, valve(s) out of adjustment. slipped timing belt or out of time. clogged CAT. If it's once in a while your fuel pump may be on it's way out or EGR is not seating good all the time and leaning you out. Distributor could be loose and changes timing in and out from engine torque. Just a thought...
