Id like to spray some grease stuff on mycars door hinges(similar to what my old mechanic used to do before I asked him not to, since hed go crazy and spray it everywhere, LOL...)

So whats the bestlubefor the application ofdoor locks, hinges, trunk hinges, andhood hinges and front catch part?

I have some Releasall, or should I buy theGunk White Lithium Grease I saw at Walmart ??

Please recommend a specific brand...

Many thanks...

just what you got pictured.... good stuff....
you may think he was OVERKILLING it... but im sure he wasnt..... cause to get grease inside like the hinges you need to put abunch all around it so it penatrates the cracks...

he just didnt wipe off the overspray stuff.... but to him time is money... hell if you told him not to do it...... what does he care... less cost and less time spent on your ride PLUS when you hinges wear out your gonna pay him to replace them im sure he doesnt care...

just spray the areas down REALY GOOD and then just use a little rag/paper towel and wipe off the excess grease...

This guy used to go to town on my new Impala, it would stink like mechanic grease for 2 weeks, would be all over the door sills, and carpet, LOL...Id have to watch out entering and exiting the car to get stuff on my pants leg or shoulder, but at least it waswell lubricated...

Regardless now I have my new 2001 Civic and the doors stick, so Im looking fwd todoing all this stuff myself......

I am a careful guy so I will apply it more carefully, good point, I will be sure to get it all worked in and in the cracks and that as you mentioned...once I get the grease stuff I can keep it up every month or so, or as it needs it. Thanks...!

ya just remember to spray it down and just wipe off the areas you could easily rub against...
cause those areas..... DONT NEED GREASE ON THEM ANYWAYS its the inside mechanics and bushings that need the lube....

tho i dont see why you would smell like a mechanic for 2weeks. LMFAO what did he spray your interrior all over?

the only places i would spray is the door latches and door hinges, spray it on them REALY GOOD then work the door... open/closed over and over which works the grease into the latches and bushings... then just wipe down the areas you could brush against.
then its all good. your lubed up trouble free.
