Default what's this?
hit something the other day and trying to figure out what this piece of metal is hanging down. It was pointed down but I bent it up.

a bracket sorts, certainly not OEM.

Possibly used to hold underbody neons?

I would say that's nothing. Probably a leftover bracket from a previous owner. Likely used to hang an underbody neon kit or something.

looks too "in the centerish" to hold a neon...definitely held something up that doesnt exist anymore though.

nope no neon. It's an 07 and first owner. So no such mods on the car.

Looks like it's supposed to have a rubber piece on it to hold those fuel and brake lines, like the one further back. Right now it isn't doing anything really, you may as well just take the bolt out and remove it.
