Default What do you use to help extract fluids?

Just a general "help out" thread...what're some tools and techniques everyone uses to extract fluids?

Like a fumoto valve (http://www.quickoildrainvalve.com/) or any sort of extrication pump (http://www.pelaproducts.com/description.htm)

Just thought it'd be neat to see a variety of ideas

Here's a smoking deal on a good brake bleeder. $34.99 at the time of this post.

URD are good folk, he basically pieced together his own fuel upgrade management system for the TRD (Toyota) supercharger years ago, finally went into business.

I have messed with the following fluids:

Brake/clutch, transmission, coolant, motor oil, power steering.

All of them were replaced using the standard techniques as outlined in the fsm. The only one I did sort of mess with was power steering. I emptied the reservoir as much as I can with baby medicine syringe 5 ml. it took a while. certainly would have been easier with a turkey baster but didn't have one handy.

the brake/clutch fluid were all done with the help of my trusty assistant, my 9 yr old son.

hope this helps.

gravity

except of course clutch which you bleed by pumping the pedal, and power steering which must be bled by turning the wheel from lock to lock.
