Default what could it be??

So I have been hit twice on my front driver side of my 95 coupe. I have had break work, new lower control arm, (cotter?) Pin and bushing or bearing or whatever on the wheel replaced, and lastly a new axle put on and my breaks bleed again. So each time the crunching noise stopped but still continues when I come to a break. I thought it was my breaks getting ready to go out but I have new breaks and pads and everything but that grinding, crunching noise won't stop. I have no idea what it is and when I put in the the shop they told me it was the axle and I had another mechanic of over twenty years fix it but it started up again... Has anyone heard of, experienced, or know what this could be? Please help. I'm so tired of that sound and it doesn't help that my car needs a paint job either... :/

I may have the problem as you, is it a popping noise similar to axle noise when you braking at low speed? and my guess is your car is manual??

I changed lots of things and still not have fix the problem yet, let me know if you find a solution.
