i have a 97 honda civic ex coupe, i recently have this problem when i push in the clutch, there's a loud screeching sound and as i switch gear, the sound gets quieter....does anyone know what's wrong?
Looks like you have to remove your transmission and see what's going on inside your clutch housing. I can't really think about anything else, cause whatever it is, it is there....
throwout bearing is attached to the tranny shaft. looks like a coupler if you will, with a wierd looking clamp on it. its the only thing in your trannys bell housing other then the tranny shaft. good luck
