And when you changed your oil you did a whole tune up as well?
when was last time you did a tune up?

What engine is this?

JDM D15B I assume... but which one? 88-91 non-VTEC, 92-95 VTEC, 92-95 VTEC-E, or 96-00 3-stage VTEC (has double VTEC solenoid)

yes,...plugs , wires , dis,cap,, rotor button ,...pcv was just replaced,... iacv and the thermostat all have been done,.........

its in a 98 ex and yes to the d15b ,....i think its a single solenoid i dont know much about e or stages ,..thanks every one for the help

Ok, well if you take the valve cover off, which of these does it look like?

not sure i would have to take it off and look if i do would i need a new gasket??
i did notice that it kicks in when i take off or if im not going that fast but if im going 60 or more it just drops down one gear and the rpms only go up to 4-4500 and it just buzzes on up from there,...thanks

Yea, you'd have to take the valve cover off. You don't have to replace the gasket unless it's worn.
