Default VECI label missing- want to check timing

Hi,

I would like to check my timing and am being referred to check the VECI label under the hood. This label is not present and I am wondering if there is any info on it that I should be aware of before proceeding with the steps in the manual. My car is a '95 Civic DX with a D15B7 engine. Thanks again,

Andy

I think they're all the same, no need for model-specific numbers. Warm up the engine, stop engine, jumper the test connector and restart it (confirm there are no codes blinked out, CEL should be on steady while running). Adjust to the center notch of the group of 3 on the crank pulley.
