Valve noise at cold start

Valve noise at cold start

I am hearing noises coming from thevalves of my 2000 civic during cold start. It only last a couple of seconds. It has 115K on it. Any thoughts?

Why do you think they are from valves? How does this sound, try to be more specific.

could be a number of things, what type of oil do you use?

It sounds like a low metal contact slap. I use 5W30 oil Quaker state winter sythetic blend.
