anyone have experience with the v-afc? I am having some problems with v-tec engagment. I have my L-H set at 4500 and my H-L set at 3500, is that sound right? What I'm wondering is what the H-L should be set at for effecient engagment/disengagment if the L-H is 4200 or 4500? I just seems like its all wierd when i shift in v-tec.

what motor is this on? thats pretty low vtec engagement. and you lose power if its too low. honestly, unless you know how to tune it, a V-AFC is a waste of money without a dyno tune. take it off until you can get a pro tune.

it's on a turbod d16z6. I cannot take it off, it's what my engines tuned with, my car wont even start without it! I Just set it at 4600 for engaugment and 3200 for disengaugment, which has worked pretty good.

I bought a 91 civic about 2 months ago, it has a ZC motor in it. I just failed emissions and was wondering if anyone knows if I took off the v-afc if it might have a chance of passing the emissions. I know that it is running rich, but i have no clue on how to use the v-afc. any input on this would be greatly appriciated.
