Default Unfixable civic

My girlfriend has a 96 civic hx with a salvage title to begin with. The car runs completely inconsistent and dies when stopped in drive but stopped in neutral its ok. When its driving down the street at 25 or so is jerks like a misfire every two secs or so. Driving at freeway speed (65 or so) its runs fairly good no misfire that is noticeable at least. It throws like two codes but they are just crap codes they aren't specific and I've fixed and checked everything it said, no change. The car has had new plugs, wires, fpr, head, and a few more things since the problem with no change. Please if anyone has any idea I'm fresh out, I don't even know what to do with this car anymore. Its A perfect definition of lemon. Any suggestions will help or at least get me thinking of new possibilities.

What are the codes? The car doesn't throw codes for nothing.

check timing, valve clearances, and try resetting your ecu and see if the codes reappear. Also check your injectors and clean as or replace as needed. have you checked your distributor rotor and cap? other than that kinda hard to guess without being there.

Yeah like hobo said, check what the codes are for.
Autozone will scan your car for the codes, for free.

Its throwing codes for random cylinder misfire and misfire cly 1,2,3,4. Sometimes the check light blinks for misfire and most of the time not. and also sometimes it runs really bad sometimes not totally horrible. When it gets a new tank of gas it runs better.

If the amount of gas in the tank consistently makes a difference, that would point to something with the fuel pump. Check the fuel pressure with a gauge.
