Turbo Question
Hey everyone, I have a 96 Ex, I ordered a manifold that i can bolt a DSM turbo directly to, ok, so i have the turbo, manifold, fmic and piping, i have 450cc injectors and the only thing that i think that im lacking is the missing link, now my question is, will the car run right without the missing link and do i actually need to put in the injectors if im only going to run 6-8lbs of boost? i want this turbo in asap but i guess ill have to wait if i need the missing link, i know that it will throw a CEL but will it run right? and am i missing anything else?
thanks for any help!

From your injector question, it sounds like you don't plan on running any type of fuel management, which means that you are going to end up blowing you motor.

You are going to need the missing link. My car goes into limp mode without out[&:] The p28 is an obd1 ecu from the 93-95 civics that can be modified to tune the fuel maps.

But you will definitely need some sort of fuel management, even if its a freaking piggy-back, it'll be better than the missing link or no tune at all. Yea, the injectors are bigger, but the car doesn't know to supply more fuel. Again, at the least get a piggy-back, but an OBD1 conversion and tune would be b etter, and a stand-alone EMS would be the best, but i bet an OBD1 tune would do you just fine.
