Recently got a 99 Civic SI that has a turbo in it. What I need help on is how to make the turbo sounds good. Because it does that "Pshhh" sound, but it's kind of low. Can I adjust it in any way or whatever to make the sound louder? I want the loud "PSHHHHH!!!" If anyone can help, that would help alot!

yep, you need a new different BOV.

 

So does that means that I have to buy a different Blow Off Valve and install that in place of the old one? But is it gonna fit with my turbo thing or whatever? It should fit any kind of BOV right?

 

what kind of blow off valve do you have on it now? My Blitz bov has a screw on it that allows you to adjust the sound.

 

I'm not sure....but I think it was a "edelbrock" turbo. So the blow off valve should be a edelbrock BOV or something, not sure. I don't think it has a screw to adjust the sound of it. I emailed the company and asked them, but they said that that's the way it came so there's no adjusting or something. I'm just lost dude.

 

No wait, I think the BOV is called "Tial" or something
