Default trying something new

i have a rebuilt z31 turbo engine from a 1984 300zx. i also have a 1988 crx. i want to put the engine in the crx. tell me what you think. should i do it or not.

i dont have really any money at all. the motor is my friends that i am rebuilding and the crx right now is a fram with everything to put it together except motor and trans, hence the 300 zx motor. is was just an idea i had but you all seem to like it so i might go for it. if nothing else it would be fun to try right? anyone have any sheetmetal they want to donate? HA HA HA........

I had a buddy that tried to put a V12 Norstar engine into a jetta. He failed but only bc of the guy he took it to, to get the engine bay extended. Otherwise I really think he coulda pulled it off.

i need to get some money first and then i will go for it but my first priority is to put a gsr motor into my 93 civic and get a job but i will keep you posted on how it is going. thanks again for your input..............

Dude... That's like my ultimate goal someday is to build like a RWD Civic or CRX or something! I definately say go for it!!!! I just need to find a rolling chassis.... Hmmm. That turbo engine is gonna rock in that thing! wow.. The main reason I want to do it is for the handling and because it would look pretty sick if some guy was challenging you thinking, ahh it's just a little ricer.... Until you light up the back tires!!! GO FOR IT!!!!

I've often wondered myself how it would be to get the motor out of a S2000 and convert the civ to a RWD w/ it? If I ever it the lottery, I'll try it
