Default Transmission problem?

I took a video of when i push down the clutch pedal. I think this is the transmission making the noise. Is it shot?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iY5faMdGyWA

I push the clutch down at 20 seconds, 25, 30 seconds and 35 seconds.
Is it supposed to make a sound at all?

Also when i start in first it makes a click noise or two when releasing or pressing down the clutch, when i shift from 1st - 2nd it makes that noise some times as well especially when in low rpms.

I can't make much sense of the video.

With the engine running, does the grinding noise get louder while the clutch is pressed, or when it is released?

That squeaking / creaking audible while pressing the clutch with the engine off just means the pivot points need some grease.

You can hear the noise as i push the clutch in at 20 seconds then i let off then at 25 seconds i push it in again and so on

It gets louder when pressed its a constant noise when held down in neutral or in any gear

So it gets louder when the clutch is pressed down? That would be something with the clutch, usually the "throw-out bearing". Most people replace the whole clutch set while the car is apart. The set includes the bearings, clutch plate, and clutch cover.

It's not the transmission, because when the car is sitting still with the clutch pressed down, everything inside the transmission stops moving. There would be no way for it to make noise.

Now the tranny is making a squeaking noise in idle without the clutch pressed down.

No even an aftermarket clutch should last at least 100km. Sounds like the throw-out bearing was defective from the get go.

Transmissions don't usually squeak, are you sure its not a belt or something else?

so if the throw out bearing is defective, do i need a new tranny or just replace the bearing? how much would that cost at the shop?

and if you know what causes a click click noise from somewhere in the engine when im releasing the clutch starting in 1st and usually when i shift into 2nd gear.

also when im accelerating in low rpms in makes an odd humming fast ticking noise kind of sounds :\

im thinking about taking it to the shop but there most likely going to rip me off somehow..
