I have a 2007 civic lx. Transmission makes a click catching noise when putting it from park to drive. Runs great not slipping or problem shifting gears. Automatic. Only makes noise when cold or starting back up after warm and off for about 20-30 min. The car shifts perfectly when warmed up- wondering if there is a problem with the bands.

 

"click-catching" noise? I have to admit, I never heard that term before. How many miles are on your car?

 

63000. Started making noise like a late engagement of bands about a second, but car starts going forward. Had Honda dealership do a complete transmission flush at 59000 miles and then sound started.
