Default timing issue...

I had a d16z6 head and an d15 block with piston and rods.... I canged the piston out to d16 pistons and they wouldnt fit without slapingwith the valves so I had to put3 head gaskets on so they would work..... they came out the block about a cm.... I know that doing thatretarded the cam....how many degrees would be excellent for advancing the cam? Igot it about 5 degrees on it now

I can't imagine that setup lasting for very long. Either the head gaskets blow or the pistons wobble and wear out.

The cam will actually advance as you lift the head up higher. You don't have much choice moving the belt a tooth at a time. You could modify the cam sprocket and get it back to zero degrees.
