Default Timing Belt Question

I just picked up an '94 DX hatchback yesterday with 122,000 miles. Is there anyway to visually tell if the timing belt has been replaced?
There are no service records so I have no idea what maintenance has been done it the car.

Thanks,
Brian

the best way to tell is pull the upper timing cover and bump the motor over until you see the info on the belt if you cant read them or look really faded i would do it to be on the safe side

Well, I think I got lucky. This belt looks fairly new to me.
Kind of weird that they didn't change the valve cover gasket at the same time. I went to check it and the tab on the gasket just snapped off. Very brittle.

If you guys agree that this belt looks fairly new, then I won't mess with it.

Thanks,
Brian

yeah i agree it does look fairly new but is kinda strange that they would get a honda tb but not even replace the valve cover gasket lol
