Default Timing belt question

So, obviously, I need the actual timing belt, but for some reason I thought there was another belt in there that needed changing at the same time, but I now I can't find where I saw that. Not the regular serp belt, but actually inside the timing cover. Any idea what i am talking about?

ummmm what engine are you working with? b/d series engines only have one belt behind the timing cover. now if your talking h/f then you would be thinking of the balance shaft belt which also has to be in time with the tming belt.

sorry, 2000 Si so b16. That's the one I was thinking, balance shaft belt. Do I have to worry about that with the B16?

Thanks again. Not looking forward to it, but I did the headgasket, timing belt, wp, and radiator in my 86 crx Si and I have the mitchel CD, hopefully I don't break the tensioner bolt off in the block this time.

Hi I saw your question and I know from experience water pump/ tensioner / any gaskets / any worn bolts
I priced it out to have it done got a quote for 425.00 for everything.
For what it's worth.
