Thinking about doing an engine swap and tranny swap
im thinking of switching from my regular auto transmission and my little 1.5 liter to an integra type r motor and a civic Si tranny from the local junkyard that tells exactly whats wrong with what, if anything and cheaper than b uying brand new. i am thinking about rebuilding both with all new internals. but do the civic Si's have an auto tranny and would it bolt to the integra type R motor? needing help here and what all do i need for the engine and tranny swap.

take note, the engine has a flywheel (meaning it's a standard, also meaning you'll need auto items) and is missing it's cams and followers. 325 for a b18a/b that's in peices is a no-no. things are never as simple as bolting the head to the block and driving off. anticipate spending another 500 getting the assorted seals, gaskets (i.e. head gasket,) bolts, brackets, sensors, flywheel/clutch (flexplate/torque converter,) and everything else that the guy "forgets" to send.
