Is there any difference?
I just got a 1999 Honda Civic HX automatic. I thought it would be easy to find parts for this car, but its actually really hard. Im looking for a cold air intake for m car, and im wondering if it has the same motor as the DX or even the EX. I no it doesnt have vtec, so im not sure. sorry if its a dumb question, but im new to this.

RE: Is there any difference?
Actually, the HX does have V-TEC, but it's the -E variant, which is geared more towards fuel economy rather than performance. There isn't nearly as much aftermarket for the HX as there is for other trim levels, but you should still be able to find the basic I/H/E components without too much hassle.
I personally think the CVT trans is a really cool idea, but I hear they have problems handling a lot of power, so beyond the basic stuff, you're not gonna be able to make your car a whole lot faster. In other words, there are no turbo or supercharger kits for your car (at least that I'm aware of)
