Tachometer does not work w/ seat belt is on & ebrake is off
Hi,
I have a 93 Honda civic SI Htch and I just got a d15b put into it just today....But now my first problem:
The standard SI Tachometer does not work when I put my seat belt on & take the ebrake is off. It was working perfectly for most of the day, now no longer is working when I have done those two things... I would love to know if they are on the same wiring or if the wires have shorted, or if the d15 connections are different than the standard SIs, or if i may have a loose wire....tyvm
New experience level is: Tune-Up/Oil Change

The blue wire from the distributor goes to the tach. If it really is related to the seat belt and ebrake and not just coincidence, check the grounds under the dash. Bad grounds will make seemingly unrelated systems interact. It could also have something to do with the DRL module if it's a Canadian model, as I think all 3 of those signals go there.
