Subaru and Ford CEL Questions
My mom drives a 2000 Subaru Outback and my dad a 2000 Ford Ranger. Both have CELs and they were complaining about gas prices today. I know for Hondas, CELs throw you into limp mode and your gas mileage goes to sh*t, is this the same for Fords and Subarus?
And also, is it possible to do the DIY blinkingCEL code thing that you can do for Hondas with either of these cars? Or should you just go to an auto shop and have them read it for you?

cliffnotes: does a Ford and Subaru CEL have the same effect as a Honda one? (gas mileage/power loss)And can i read it like you can do with a Civics CEL?
