Default Stuck on Steering Rack Boot Repair

Hello All,

I'm currently working on replacing my '92 civic steering rack boots. I was working through the repair without major issues until it came time to get the new boot on. There isn't hardly any space to fit your hands in there and I can't seem to get the rubber boot over the metal rim that it needs to go on. If anyone has done this repair before and has any advice please let me know. It's very frustrating not being able to do something so simple because you can't get your hands where they need to go.

Thanks,
Lex

It's been awhile since I did mine but you may have to get under the car? It was a PITA but if you keep at it you can get it done. I don't remember there being any special trick to it other than just doing it.
