striped screws

Default striped screws

I have a 93 honda civic I'm trying to take off the control module ignition. How can i loosen the striped screws?

Are they sheet metal screws? If so try prying up on the module as your turning the screws out.

Thanks for the help I went to lowes last night and got a tool called prograbit works like a charm.

Another tool that works well for tough screws, especially on motorcycles, is an impact driver.

What does a prograbit look like, how does it work? That is a new one on me. The closest Lowes is 100 miles away or I would go look at one.
