if you want to disable the light just pull out the fuse and see if that works.

 

My srs light wont go off either. i am not sure what the problem is i have tried changing fuses. i have after market terminals and it still wont go off.

 

i've still gotta get around to doing the trick in my first post's link... stupid school... so if you wanna give it a try, i've not done it yet so i can't say if it works or not... trust other people have done it otherwise why would have it been mentioned

 

check like you would for a regular check engine code, except look at the srs light. once you get the code, let me know and i will tell you what to do

 

lol, just fixing my car... i had EVERYTHING unplugged. lol all the plugs going to the fuse box.. so im sure i messed something up. Im not too worried about it. I figured when i got around to it....

Pull the bulb out?? lol

 

Mine is on as well. Can't remember how long it has been on but I know it has been on for a good while! If you just remove the fuse, the car will NOT start. So thats not the fix lol!!! Im waiting to see what everyone else finds out cause it hasn't been a problem yet haha.

 

Where can I find the plug at in my car to do the paper clip test? I was thinking it was close to the fuse panel under the steering wheel but I couldn't find it there.

 

Tried unplugging the battery for a few minutes and that didn't work. Looks like I'll need to do some real troubleshooting. Damn!

 

well for me i have noticed every time i unplug my whole radio bezel stuff the light goes off. ofcourse my car is off at the time im installing a new radio and i dont notice till im driving down the road that my light is off. problem is my sensor is very sensitive and the light goes off almost evry bump
