Squeaky sun visor
#12
Okay, so I tried removing the metal rod from the visor without any luck.
Next, I inserted the spray straw from a can silicone lubricant into a fabric opening next to where the metal rod inserts into the visor. I then used Addition's picture as a reference to position the end of the straw in the predicted location of the metal hinge where the rod inserts inside the visor. After a couple of lubricant blasts in the area of interest, I reinstalled the visor. The squeaking noise is now almost completely eliminated. Thanks Addiction for the invaluable disassembled visor picture.

ya its odd. i can pull out the passenger visor easy enough but the drivers side one just wont come out... dont know why they are the same thing... i know mines stiff but it doesnt make any noises, id say try to pull the rod off now that you shot some lube on the inside and hopefully its got enough lube now to hopefully yank out.
hell recover your sunroof and visors
i just trimmed my mirrors and glued them to the fabric. they should hold up i think.
its just to cold to slap them in the car yet.
