good lord. She was looking for a code reader output. YOU DON'T HAVE ONE! All you have to do is test your speedo sensor, not pull a engine code. If you wanted to pull an engine code you'll have to do it manually, search how to do it if you want.
I am 85% sure that if you just suck it up, buy the sensor and replace it, your problems will go away.

The '95 uses OBD1 codes, which are read by jumping a test connector under the extreme right end of the dash then watching the check engine light blink. They don't have an OBD2 connector obviously. Nearly all cars '96 and newer can be read with an OBD2 connecter under the driver's side of the dash, which is what the somewhat trained person at Advance was looking for.
I think a bad speed sensor will set a code. But if you've confirmed the odometer quits along with the speedometer then it's almost certainly the sensor anyway.
