Default some slack in steering wheel, and screeching...

For the last month, iv notice that there is some play in the steering wheel. it feels like you can move the steering wheel half an inch left and right, and the tire's will not turn.

This has happend like 3 times in the last month, when i first start my car in the morning after itsstarts, it will make a screeching noise, but my streeing wheel is straight at the time it does it. The other 2 times it has happend i was driving and making a turn.

8 months i had like all the the belts replace, so what do you think could be the resson for the screeching and loose streeing wheel?

sounds like your low on fluid or pump is going out or your resevoir leaking fluid. or maybey your rack is leaking.

I park my car in the garage, so i dont think there is a leak. i dont know what you mean, (your rack is leaking)?

lOW ON steering fluid? How do i tell if im low? If i am low, will that fix the loose steering?

I havint started my car today, i dont know if the power streeing fluid leves its bottle, but its right on the lower level line. Will a low leve like that give me that sound?

Where should it be at, higher level or in between?

I dont know what brand of fluid is in there, will it be fine to mix? Ill go to napa, whats a good brand to get?

rack. is your rack and pinon, this steers your car. power steering fluid goes to this to help make your steering easy. you know what i mean? how to check fluid. open your hood and it should be on the drivers side should be mounted near the fender, and it should have a red lillte cap
look like this

Never ever ever ever ever ever put nothing beside Honda power steering fluid in you honda. Napa will have it. Dont let any one tell you can put other brands in there. other brands will eat the seals in your steering system. and fill to top line start car and turn wheel back and forth to start moving the new fluid. make sure cap is on while doing this., then leave car run then check fluidlevel again, add more if needed.

Thanks! Ill see if it will solve the creeching.

Is the loose steering a diffrent problem, or could it be do to low fluid?

also, it could be loose tie rod joints if you have a lot of miles on the car, but if this is a sudden thing that popped up, then again, maybe not.

Make sure the new PS belt is still tight. The excess steering wheel free play might be addressed with a rack guide adjustment, though I would wait on this -- filling the system with Honda PS fluid and tightening the belt may be the fix. When you experienced the excess free play, was the steering wheel also very difficult to turn?
