Default Skunk2 Intake Manifold. What to do with IAT?

Hello HCF

I just recently installed a Skunk2 IM on my D16y8.

The IM has a hole for the Iat sensor on pipe number 1.

I have a 97 Ex. And I couldnt find anything that fits there. I did a quick googling and found that my "IAT" is like a little nipple that goes into the air filter.

Is this right? What am I supposed to do here?

You either continue to run the IAT sensor in the intake pipe like stock, or your buy an OBD1 (92-95) civic sensor and harness plug, wire it in (2 wires) and screws it into the hole.

Be sure to plug any holes (intake arm, or manifold) that you do not use.

I see. So what about if I want to keep it with the IAT at the Air filter? What should I close the hole with? I currently have a screw in there. I gotta replace it anyhow because its too long.

I did plug all the hose. I pretty much use all the hoses minus the cruise control little pipe.

Cover the hole by cutting a piece of aluminum out in that shape and use screws (something like the screws that hold the MAP sensor in) to hold the customer block off in place. Be sure to use some sealant like honda-bond to create a nice gasket.

I have relocated my map sensor off the Throttle body before and used a dremel to cut a piece of aluminum to shape. Painted it black and looks like I had a sensor delete lulz.
