Default Side Mouldings

Would anybody happen to know how to remove the side moldings on an EJ1? I dont' need help with the part on the fenders, that'll be easy. I'm sure I can figure out how to remove the door moulding, but what about the section on the quarter panel? Anybody know?

Well, I'm completely shaving them, I just figured I might as well just take the moldings off now while I have some spare time on my hands.. I'll fiberglass over it pretty soon here...

I also plan on shaving the rain gutters. I'd shave the door handles, but the doors would freeze shut here in PA during the winters.

Moldings: remove moldings, fiberglass over where they used to be, use putty to smooth everything out, and paint over everything

Gutters: fiberglass over, use putty to smooth it out, and paint it

Door handles: First, figure out a way to open the door! I've seen people use a steel cable at the bottom of the door that opens it (I'm not sure I'd do that... it's too easy to break into then!), and the most common way is to just use a door popper. Then, remove the exterior door handle/trim, weld a plate in over it, then use filler to smooth it out and paint it.

I might do the door handles yet. I have to decide if it's worth it in the winter. If I do shave the handles, I have a feeling I'll be crawling in through the trunk a lot in the winter ...
