whats up hommies,
my friend had an si but crashed it.. and now i bought one n he has a carbon fiber hood he never used.. it's not one of thoses overly exaggerated ones with ugly moding on the middle of it.. but im scared of ricing out my car... plaz help me out here.. do i go ahead and buy it or just upgrade something else...u can take a look at my car and advise me plz..thankz

i would say do it. i like my carbon fiber hood, you can look at my gallery and check it out since i have a blue car as well. id say if its vis or seibon then you will be good to go, just make sure its not a cheap ebay one.

i think it'll look sick, i dont really think CF hoods are ricey.

First, post up some larger pics.

Second, just get the hood and have it painted to match your car. That way you get the lighter weight, and your car still looks the same.

i dont know, most people are happy with just the OEM hood, like me, as an example

i like real carbon color...not just people who paint their hood black to fake it....i also like cf hoods painted. I like carbon..lol anything thats lighter has the potential to make your car faster, and i like things that make me go faster.....it will look pretty decent reguardless if you paint it or leve it carbon.

do it, it will look sick. Buddy of mine has an 2000 SI as well w/a carbon fiber hood, looks great. Also if i were you get some black housing headlights and maybe some H.I.D's thats all. keep the rest stock.

thank you guyz for all the replies... im not buyin it on ebay and it looks just like the stock hood just carbon fiber... i think im goin to do after i finish gettin a radio...lol...probly not gana paint it cuz i like the whole black and blue thing..lol..

Oh I was thinking about getting a carbon fiber hood for the strength and weight. Didnt know you can paint it as well?
