Default **** hit fan & i hav an inquiry

i just bought a brand new coupe that i picked up on tuesday. today, while i was working it started pouring and hailing outside. the ice pieces were about the size of a milkdud. i knew as soon as i looked outside, my car was getting raped. when my car dried up i found a bunch of little dents all over the trunk, hood & roof. looked as if someone used an auto-cocking paintball gun.

my question is; will my insurance company only pay for the repairs if i have comprehensive coverage? also, if they dont, how much am i looking at for repairs. keep in mind that theres at least 50 little dents on the hood alone.

thank-you for your time and thanks in advance for all replies.

The best person to answer those questions is your insurance representative. It wasn't your fault, so they won't get mad at you for asking if it's covered.

Hey, welcome to the forum, Man. Congrats on the purchase and sorry about the hail.

Liability only insurance must be able to hold someone liable for the damages. Who are they gonna hold liable? Mother Nature? I'm not sure if comprehensive even covers acts of God, such as hail, floods, plague of locusts... that sort of thing

Maybe you could just even them out and tell all your buddies it's the new "Golf Ball" finish to cut down your air resistance??

Youre are most likely going ot need collison to have those repairs done. Collison also your mistakes to be covered usually with a higher deductible.

if you only have liability, youre probably screwed. but some full coverage policies cover acts of god, so you might check anyway. btw, its brand new? did you pay cash for it? if its financed it has to be fully covered, doesnt it?

does anyone know how much the repairs will cost me approx.? i'm going to get it fixed even if insurance doesnt cover it b/c im planning to keep it for at least 5 yrs & i dont wanna drive around with it all dented out. keep in mind that u can only see them in certain daytime lighting and theres alot of them scattering the hood, trunk & roof. all look like marble whips. i dont even know if its fixable. how much are all those panels? sorry for the babbling, im goin f^ckin nuts.
