seat belt chime on 07 civic
I have a 07 civic and wanted to now how to shut off the seat belt chime other then putting it on (always a wise guy in the bunch). I wear it 97% of time but would like to shut it off. I had a 05 mustang that did the same thing was able to shut it off so was hoping Honda was the same way.

I would think there would be a plug that goes to the latch that you could unplug and put a jumper wire in. But im not 100% sure.

Yeah i think thats what you gotta do.
the cable runs underneath the seat and connects to the seat belt latch thing.

It's illegal to tamper with the SRS system.
We've had a ton of these threads over the years and they always end in a ****-show. I'm just going to go ahead and close this one down before it gets ugly.
You can search for the threads if you'd like but you're not likely to find any real info as to how the chime is disabled. It's a safety feature, it's there for a reason, and it only takes 2 seconds to toss your seat belt on..
