Default Seafoam: Cant get brake booster hose off! Alternative?

Hi All,

Im trying to seafoam my car but i'm having a very hard time removing the brake booster hose. Can I put the seafoam somewhere else?

My plan is:
1/3 oil (change oil right after)
1/3 fuel tank
1/3 alternative to brake booster hose ??

Any help would be appreciated!

Disconnect the booster hose at the manifold and attach a suitable piece of other hose. Or remove the intake pipe at the throttle body and pour Seafoam into the throttle body. I wouldn't put anything into the crankcase except oil.

I would try removing the brake booster at the TB and using a separate hose.

Harshest thing I would put in the crankcase is Marvel Mystery Oil. I've seen how much seafoam thins out oil.

If you're going to do the whole nine yards, you can also consider doing an overnight piston soak to clean the ring lands.

I wouldn't use Seafoam. The reason is I tried Seafoam once in a Chevy Blazer 4x4 & it melted the converter. I have read that others have had the same experience with Seafoam. I use Lucas injector cleaner. Two reasons on it cleans & it lubes. It cleans the injectors & fuel system & it lubes the electric in tank fuel pumps.

Are you attempting to remove the hose off the clip on the firewall, or pull it off of a nipple or hose end on the booster or intake manifold? I can't really tell and I have no experience with seafoam.

I originally tried to remove it from the firewall but it was way too inaccessible. I then tried to pull it off of the intake manifold and that didn't work either.
