More agressive cams will cause your idle quality to be changed. You could call Crower and ask them if that is normal. Also, you can adjust the idle. First disconnect the Idle Air Control (IAC) motor. Start the car. Next find the screw on the throttle that adjusts the throttle at idle. Turn the screw until the idle is where you want it. Turn the car off, reconnect the IAC.

If your car isn't OBD II originally it will not have the plug for the secondary O2 sensor, you might have to wire one from the PCM. You do need a knock sensor, it tells the PCM if the ignition timing is correct. W/O the knock sensor your engine will not know if you have any preignition problems.

The knock sensor goes in the engine block if i am not mistaken. If the engine and your car are both OBD II, then you should have a knock sensor on the block and a connection for it in your harness. But your head should not have the knock sensor attached to it. The knock sensor on an HX coupe is behind the oil filter, axle, and oil pressure switch (all in the same place). If you want a picture of it, i can email it.
