Default rotor heat shield rubbing

so im driving down this bumpy kidna bumpy road and i hear this metal on metal sound i pull over check it out was my rotor shield on the inside rubbing, so i bent it back no sound, car has no power steering could it be the tie rod hitting it? never happened before but I've owned the car for like 5 days does this happen to lowered cars? any help would be nice, i wasn't turning just diving straight, that's what boggles my noggin.i just read if the air gap is bad? or alignment of the heatshield?

that rear heat shield probably got bent when you put a jack under the front wheels or a jack stand... simply bend it back and youll be fine.

that happened to me once. i just bent it up with the jack when re securing the lca. i know it freaks ya out when you hear it grinding like WTF. no problem just bent it back towards the center of the car and youll be fine.
