Removing the governor
I've got a d15b7 in my 95 civic dx sedan. i know the feul and spark cut off is 119 and it bogs down when i hit it. how do i remove it. or do i have to get a piggyback or a new ecu. Does the ECM need to be reprogrammed by someone for this.
I have now clue theese are just thoughts runnig through my head.

RE: Removing the governor
well i've only gotten up to 115, but i think it was sacicons who said the the speed limiter is at 119 and i wanted to go faster than that. what have you topped yours out at stock? and modded?

RE: Removing the governor
yeah, the stock ecu has a limiter at about 118-119. i used to sit and bounce off of it on my way home from work at 1:30am through the desert. you need a different ecu. i have yet to find it on the p28. something tells me its around the same place as 8600rpms in 5th.
